Madonna and her hair  It is Superbowl day and most people are asking who do you think is going to win this game? But us hairstylist, we are asking another question. We are asking what color do you think Madonna's hair will be. Many people are taking votes for this instead of the game. When you google search Madonna and Superbowl, this is the question that appears. I cant wait to see her and her hair color. I love Madonna as a blond. That is how I always think of her because she was the top artist in the 80's when I was a teenager. |

Red Red red and Red I am loving the new bright red hair color that many celebrities are wearing now. But not everyone can wear such a bright red. My client Ashley looks great in the bright red, she looks in creditable in the hair color. After several months, she was ready to go back blond. With the red it is a lot of upkeep to have it staying bright and red. So you will be spending more money and more time for the upkeep. But I think it is a great color, if you have the skin tone for it. |

Thank you to everyone and the wonderful comments about my blogs. I am new at this so I am trying. I was told by Google this is a great way to get new clients to visit my web page. Well now on to the new salon updates.... I am taking my salon back to the one on one service. Clients really seem to enjoy that more. So I wont be working clients in between another client. At first, I thought this would be a great way to always get people in. I hate turning clients away but what I hate more is feeling rushed. So I am taking up a notch and going back to the one one service with each one of my haircut and hair color clients. On Saturdays I will have danish, or dough nuts with coffee for all the clients can enjoy while they are having there hair done. i really hope everyone enjoys these more positive changes. |

The salon phone is ringing at Hair by Gayla Salon. I can tell the holidays are behind us until next year. Everyone is done with the holiday cheer and ready to think about there haircuts and hair color. |

Another color change at the salon on Saturday. This client has a dark red color in her hair and some blond and red highlights through out the front area. She brought in a pic of what color and haircut she wanted. It was again accomplished at Hair By Gayla Salon. We removed the red out of the back of her hair. Then added a filler color to fill the hair before we colored it chestnut brown. After the filler had processed, we added the chestnut brown color and all over blond highlights in the front to remove the rest of the red in the front area. |

Our client Ashley Robinson has been a very bright redhead for about 6 months. She wanted her hair like Cat Valentine. With lots of research about this color. The color was achieved at her first hair service. Ashley is the red head model you will find on our facebook page and our website. Ashley is now a blond. It took removing the color and then deposit a brown color back into the hair. The all over highlights were put in her hair. It turned out great. You can find the pics on our facebook page. |
