This week has been a very busy week at Hair by Gayla. To be honest, the past few months have been so busy. I am so thankful for this. The slaon has been filled with hair color and haircuts

Red Red red and Red I am loving the new bright red hair color that many celebrities are wearing now. But not everyone can wear such a bright red. My client Ashley looks great in the bright red, she looks in creditable in the hair color. After several months, she was ready to go back blond. With the red it is a lot of upkeep to have it staying bright and red. So you will be spending more money and more time for the upkeep. But I think it is a great color, if you have the skin tone for it. |

Hair by Gayla Salon is located inside Salon suites on Towne Lake pkwy in Woodstock Ga. This week has been a very busy week at the slaon. New color client today, we did highlights and low lights with a inverted swing bob haircut. |

Chalking Another New TrendAnother trend is chalking, which is done with the same type of chalk the children use on sidewalks. The advantage of using chalk is that it washes right out. If you are going out for an evening you can choose any color of chalk and streak the ends of your hair or apply long streaks, color your bangs and let your imagination be your guide. Of course, you don't want to get caught in the rain or the color will be running down your clothing.The procedure for using chalk on your hair ir:Fill a bowl with 1 1/4 full of warm water. |

I have been a hair designer for over 20 yrs now and I am finally living my dream. My dream has always been to have my own salon. This way I work all the hours I want and use the products that I love. This October the salon will be open 2 years and I cant be more pleased. My days are filled with haircuts and hair color. Three to six new clients a week. I love when the salon phone rings and I can say Thank you for calling Hair by Gayla salon and someone is wanting a haircut or hair color. |

The hair salon is now doing monthly newsletters and surveys to new clients. Make sure you are set up to accept emails from Hair by Gayla Salon. The past few weeks has been so busy. The new promotion is working, brining in many new haircut and hair color clients to the hair salon. |

Spring is here!!!!! You can feel in the air at Hair by Gayla Salon. So many clients are going from long to short with the haircuts. The hair color is getting more blonde. I just love this time of the year. |

The salon will be opened tomorrow Sunday march 6th from 2pm to 7pm. It is going to be a fun day of Hair color and Haircuts at the salon. Anyone that comes into the salon on this day, will leave with a gift. |

This week at the salon was slower for me. But it was nice to have a few breaks in between hair color and haircut clients. The week ahead is getting very busy for me. On my client Alissa, we did a very sassy trendy haircut on her. Sarah came in and she had been lately doing her hair color at home. She was trying to save some money. But she was very unhappy with the way it has been turning out. So she came back to me on Thursday night. Her color turned out great and she left Hair by Gayla Salon very very happy. |
